These are the official terms and conditions (the “Official Voting Rules”) for voting in connection with the “2022 Dizilah Güzel Awards” (the “Show”) scheduled to take place on June 18, 2022 (“Show Day”).
Eligibility
At the time of voting, individuals may only nominate shows and actors from the 2021-2022 season. Shows or actors that fall before or after the aforementioned timeframe will not be considered.

Finalists in the categories marked (*) will be determined by a fan vote.
When To Vote
(a) First Wave Voting Period: The voting period for the first wave of nominations will commence on June 6, 2021 at or around 5:00 pm PM Eastern Time (ET) and shall continue through and end on June 8, 2021 at 11:30 PM ET. At the end of the First Wave Voting Period, the top five (5) nominees in each category will move on to become the final nominees in the category, with all previous votes erased and the tabulation beginning at “0” for each of the five (5) remaining nominees.
(b) Second Voting Period: For all categories except “Dizilah Performer of the Year,” “Rising Star of the Year”, “Best Original Screenplay”, and “Admincim of the Year”, voting will resume on June 10 at approximately 02:00 PM ET and shall continue through and end on June 15 at or around 11:59 PM ET, with the winner being announced during the live presentation of the Show.
Throughout the second voting period, you will be able to vote up to 10 times a day in each category on the official Show’s website and as many times as you like on social media (when social media vote is open).
How To Vote
(a) First Wave Voting Period: VOTING WILL BE ONLINE ONLY DURING THE FIRST WAVE VOTING PERIOD. Go to guzelawards.dizilah.com and click the web vote button next to the nominee for whom you want to vote. Then, follow the instructions to vote.
If you are accessing the Website using mobile device, NOTE: Standard data rates and other charges may apply all as provided in your wireless service rate plan. (Please contact your wireless carrier for pricing plans and details).
(b) Second Wave Voting Period: VOTING WILL BE ONLINE AND VIA TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM
DURING THIS PERIOD. Voting online shall be as per sub-clause (a) above.
(i) Go to guzelawards.dizilah.com and click the web vote button next to the finalist for whom you want to vote. Then, follow the instructions to vote (NOTE: you will have to authenticate your vote using Captcha)
(ii) VOTING VIA TWITTER: A Twitter account is required for entry. You may vote on your web-enabled mobile device via the Twitter app during the Second Wave Voting Period by (a) (the “Hashtag Vote”), tweet #GüzelAwards, Tag @Dizilah and the show or actor you would like to vote for, as well as the official hashtag for the category, #GÜZEL[NAME] to count as one vote; or (b) follow the Hashtag Vote instructions in any call to action
provided in any tweet message received from DIZILAH, and then follow Dizilah’s Twitter account so you can see updates and announcements related to the winners of the night.
You must submit your Hashtag Vote in accordance with the foregoing instructions during the Voting Period to count as a vote. Retweets will count as valid votes. Votes that exceed 280 characters will not count. Multiple Tweets in one original Tweet will not count as valid votes. Submissions with the Hashtag Vote constitute your acceptance of these Official Rules. Votes must be submitted as directed and within the timeframe
specified by DIZILAH. The failure of an entrant to comply with the foregoing may result in an incomplete or disqualified Vote. DIZILAH has the sole discretion to determine whether a submission qualifies as a Vote. Entries must be submitted in accordance with Twitter’s Terms of Use, which can be found at
https://twitter.com/tos. Your Twitter account privacy settings must be set to “Off”. If you do not have a Twitter account, visit https://www.twitter.com. The Twitter app is available for download on your mobile device by visiting https://twitter.com/download.
(iii) VOTING VIA INSTAGRAM: An Instagram account is required for entry. You may vote on your web-enabled mobile device via the Instagram app during the Second Wave Voting Period by (a) (the “Photo-Op Vote”), uploading a post on your Instagram acct using the #GüzelAwards hashtag, tagging @Dizilah and the show or actor you would like to vote for, as well as the official hashtag for the category, #GÜZEL[NAME] to count as one vote; then follow Dizilah’s Instagram account so you can see updates and announcements related to the winners of the night.You must submit your Photo-Op Vote in accordance with the foregoing instructions during the Voting Period to count as a vote.Reposts will count as valid votes. Votes that do not include a photo of the actor or show you are voting for will not count.Submissions with the Photo-Op Vote constitute your acceptance of these Official Rules. Votes must be submitted as directed and within the timeframe specified by DIZILAH. The failure of an entrant to comply with the foregoing may result in an incomplete or disqualified Vote. DIZILAH has the sole discretion to determine whether a submission qualifies as a Vote.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY AND ALL SUBMISSIONS AND METADATA SUBMITTED VIA VOTING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SHOW MAY BE PUBLICLY VIEWABLE. IN ADDITION, PARTICIPANTS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEIR POSTS MAY BE REPOSTED BY THE PUBLIC OR OPEN TO PUBLIC COMMENTARY, FOR WHICH DIZILAH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE.
General Terms
Use of any device to automate a vote is prohibited, including but not limited to software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated votes. DIZILAH reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual (and remove any votes from that individual) it suspects or finds:
(i) to have used a software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated online/WAP or texting vote;
(ii) to have tampered with the voting process;
(iii) to be acting in violation of these Official Voting Rules; or
(iv) to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
DIZILAH reserves the right to remove votes at its sole discretion. The nominee who receives the highest number of valid votes in each category, as determined by DIZILAH in its sole discretion, will be deemed the winner of the category. In the event this voting process is interrupted or found to have been tampered with in any way or for any other reason including without limitation a dispute or tie and DIZILAH deems it necessary or appropriate, DIZILAH reserves the right to make the final determination as to which of the nominees will be declared the winner of the category and may take into consideration the number of votes received by a nominee up until the time of the interruption or cancellation of the voting process. Nominees are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members of the public, as determined by DIZILAH in its sole discretion. If, for any reason, any aspect of this voting process is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical or system failures or disruption,Or any other causes beyond the control of DIZILAH which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the voting process or for any reason DIZILAH deems it necessary, DIZILAH reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the voting process and reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the winner(s).
Failure to comply with these Official Voting Rules may result in a voter’s disqualification solely at the discretion of DIZILAH. All interpretations of these Official Voting Rules and the decisions of DIZILAH relating to this voting process are final.
